Welcome to North Cobb!

What's new?

After launching and faithfully serving Victory Church in Acworth for 17 years, the Hidden family will be stepping into a new season that God is calling them to. As they move into the new season, they have passed the torch of leadership to new Campus Pastors Darius and Melba Dunson.

In Loving Memory
Jeff Hidden

Founding Pastor of Victory North, Jeff Hidden, passed on to his heavenly home to be with the Lord on June 1. We are grieving together – with the Hidden family. We know that Pastor Jeff’s life affected so many people as he ministered faithfully to those around him.

While we feel his loss with immense sadness, we also celebrated his life, legacy, and tremendous impact here on earth at Jeff’s celebration of life memorial service on Saturday, June 11. We are still celebrating his new home with Jesus, in heaven!

If you were unable to attend, you may view the services below.

Current Series

We live in a world that brings great difficulties our way. When the storms of life come, it’s easy for us to get discouraged and led astray from the truth.

Campus Pastors

Campus Pastors Darius and Melba Dunson have met while doing campus ministry at the University of West Georgia and were drawn to each other’s passion for the Lord. Serving God has been an intricate part of their life, as they have served in multiple facets of ministry for over two decades. Darius and Melba joined the Victory Church family in 2010 and most recently served as the Associate Campus Pastors of Victory Church’s Norcross campus. As a native of Marietta, Georgia, Darius has felt a burden to impact the North Cobb area with the gospel of Jesus Christ since 2011. They are so excited to begin this next phase of their journey as the campus pastors of Victory Church – North Cobb.

What We’re About

First and foremost, we’re about Jesus. Most importantly, we’re about His last instruction to the church, “to go into the world and make disciples.” For us, this is where the rubber meets the road.

In fact, it’s so important to us that we’ve devoted an entire series of teachings to what we’ve defined as 10 Qualities of a Disciple. These foundational principles, based on Acts 1:8, simply mean that we’re focused on loving our neighbors both around the corner and around the world. Two of our four foundational pillars are built around community outreach and missions. Every year we send dozens of missions trips overseas and hundreds of our people into our city to minister in prisons and help those in need. As well, we regularly give more than 20% of our budget to organizations locally and abroad.
