Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my
ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the
heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your
ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.”
Mark 9:17-23 NLT
One of the men in the crowd spoke up and said, “Teacher, I brought
my son so you could heal him. He is possessed by an evil spirit that
won’t let him talk. And whenever this spirit seizes him, it throws him
violently to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth and grinds his
teeth and becomes rigid. So I asked your disciples to cast out the evil
spirit, but they couldn’t do it.” Jesus said to them, “You faithless
people! How long must I be with you? How long must I put up with
you? Bring the boy to me.” So they brought the boy. But when the evil
spirit saw Jesus, it threw the child into a violent convulsion, and he
fell to the ground, writhing and foaming at the mouth. “How long has
this been happening?” Jesus asked the boy’s father. He replied,
“Since he was a little boy. The spirit often throws him into the fire or
into water, trying to kill him. Have mercy on us and help us, if you
can.” “What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is
possible if a person believes.”
Mark 9:23 NLT
“What do you mean, ‘IF I CAN’?” Jesus asked. “ANYTHING IS
POSSIBLE IF A PERSON BELIEVES.”
Mark 9:24 NLT
The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my
unbelief!”
“We live within the limitation of what we can believe.”
Mark 11:22-24 NLT
Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God. I tell you the
truth, you can say to this mountain, ‘May you be lifted up and thrown
into the sea,’ and it will happen. But you must really believe it will
happen and have no doubt in your heart. I tell you, you can pray for
anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.”
Philippians 4:13 NKJ
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
“I Can” Promises:

  1. I can live in dominion over sin.
    Romans 6:12 NKJ
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should
    obey it in its lusts.
    Romans 6:14 NKJ
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law
    but under grace.
    1 Corinthians 6:12-13 NKJ
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are
lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. Foods
for the stomach and the stomach for foods, but God will destroy both
it and them. Now the body is not for sexual immorality but for the
Lord, and the Lord for the body.
  2. I can pray and receive whatever God’s Word promises.
    John 15:7 NKJ
“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you
desire, and it shall be done for you.”
    Mark 11:24 NLT
“I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve
received it, it will be yours.”
  3. I can operate in the supernatural power of God.
    Mark 16:17-18 NKJ
“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will
cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up
serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt
them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
    John 14:12 NKJ
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I
do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I
    go to My Father.”
    1 Corinthians 2:4-5 NKJ
And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of
human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that
your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of
    God.
